BENNINGTON -- Mrs. Bessie Hall, 93, widow of Floyd Hall, a former resident of Coleville Road, Bennington, died Friday, March 11, 2005, at Crescent Manor Care Centers in Bennington following a long illness.

Born in Bennington, Feb. 26, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Rose (Hall) Hill. She received her education in Bennington.

Mr. and Mrs. Hall were married Sept. 28, 1951. Mr. Hall died Aug. 23, 1994.

Mrs. Hall was a lifetime member of the Women of the Moose Auxiliary. She enjoyed doing needlepoint.

Survivors include four sons, 29 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, greatnieces, greatnephews and cousins. Mrs. Hall was predeceased by a son, James Kelley and a sister and brother, Lizzie Briggs and Parley Hill.

The funeral will be held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Monday, March 14, 2005, at 2 p.m.

Friends may call at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Monday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

Entombment will take place in Park Lawn Chapel with burial to be in Insdillville Cemetery in the spring.

If friends desire, contributions in memory of Mrs. Hall may be made to the dialysis unit at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center through the office of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home, 628 Main St., Bennington, VT 05201.
