Mrs. Liza Ida Burden, 97, died Thursday in a nursing home at 2900 Kendallwood Parkway, Gladstone, where she lived. She was born in Butler County, Ky., and had lived in this area 40 years.
Mrs. Burden was a member of the Avondale Baptist Church in Clay County.
She leaves five grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Woodville Cemetery, east of Excello, Mo. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Newcomer North Kansas City Chapel.
