Dr. William A. Ball, 60 years old, died at his Akron, Ohio home August 9 after an extended illness, and funeral services were held Aug 12 at an Akron funeral home. Funeral services were also held at the Chambers Funeral Home in Ravenswood last Saturday, Aug 13, with burial being in the Ravenswood Cemetery. The deceased had been a doctor of chiropractic medicine in Akron for more than 30 years. His widow is the former Effie Lee, daughter of J. W. Lee and the late Mrs. Rebecca A. Lee of Turkey Run. Surviving besides his widow are the following: his children, Dorothy Lee and William A. Ball Jr.; one sister, Mrs. Ada Porter of Steubenville, Ohio and two brothers, Horace Ball of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Arch Ball of St. Petersburg, Florida.
