OBIT: Winner Advocate, Winner, SD in Aug 1937:
"FRANK FRANK - Frank Frank, son of Frank & Rosa Frank was born September 10, 1873 at Golz, Hungary, and came to this country with his widowed mother and brother, when he was eight years old, and lived at Kramer, Nebr. He was married to Miss Sophia E. Kramer, in 1896, and the family lived at Ord, Nebr., for fourteen years, coming to Tripp county in 1910. There was born to this union five children, Ben H. Frank of Belle Fouche, S.D., Hobart Frank of Big Springs, Nebr., Harold J. Frank and Herman K. Frank, both of Winner, and Mrs. Clarence Brunkow, of Western, Nebr.
Mr. Frank was a regular attendant and member of the Methodist church, belonging to the church in Winner until the one was founded near his home in Ideal.
Mr. Frank was a kind father and husband, a good citizen, and was always interested in the upbuilding of his community. He was president of the Farmers Elevator Company of Winner at the time of his death and was a director in the Northwestern Grain association of Minneapolis.
In failing health for several months his death came suddenly from a heart attack Wednesday afternoon, August 25th.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Winner Friday morning, Dr. John Washburn officiating. The paul bearers were Mr. Frank's board of directors, Martin Jorgensen and Melville Lamb of Farmer's Elevator, and the music was furnished by Messrs. August Nelson, W. C. Chancellor, and Mesdames J. H. Christensen and Archie Bice, with Miss Veria Nelson at the piano.
The body was taken to Kramer, Nebr., and funeral services were held in the little country church that both Mr. and Mrs. Frank attended in their youth, and burial was made in the cemetrery there. Rev. L. A. Moore of Crete, Nebraska, was the minister.
CARD OF THANKS - We take this means of expressing our appreciation of the kind thoughtfulness of our neighbors and friends who extended sympathy and help during our recent bereavement.
