She married Jesse Barker who had preceded in death. Surviving were four sons, Herbert, Glen and Joe of Shelbyville and Burl of Sullivan; seven daughters, Mrs. Mable Helton, Mrs. Edith Hudson, Mrs. Mary Hunter and Mrs. Neva Stirrett of Shelbyville, Mrs. Irma Reber of La Rose, IL; Mrs. Opal Weitzel of Decatur; and Mrs. Hester Heiden of Stewardson; step-daughter, Mrs. Hattie Crowder of Bethany; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Wallace of Shelbyville and Mrs. Maude Hoese of Worthington, IN. One son had died in infancy. Burial was in Richland Cemetery. Windsor Gazette – Thursday – 2 May 1957
