Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Perritt Humble, 89, of Monterey will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at the Herringville Baptist Church in Monticello, LA with Rev. Donnie Linson and Rev. Jeff Sykes officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM Tuesday at Cox Funeral Home in Delhi.
Burial will be in the Herringville Cemetery.
Ms. Betty was a longtime resident of the Monticello community and member of Herringville Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Tom David Perritt and Mary Thompson Perritt; her husband, William Lish Humble; a sister, Mae Dee Perritt, three brothers, Samuel Boyd Perritt and Clifton Perritt and Clarence Rogers and a sister-in-law Jean Rogers.
She is survived by her step-mother, Lillie Mae Perritt of Monterey, LA; three brothers, Earl David Perritt and wife Dorothy of Monterey, John Wesley Perritt and Jimmy Rogers both of Mineral Wells, TX; three sisters, Audrey Perritt Barbe & husband R. E. of Center, TX, Minnie Sue Perritt Crouch & husband Jackie and Adalene Perritt Duncan and husband Walter all of Monterey and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Nelson Burchfield, Jerry Arledge, Billy Castilaw, Bruce Castilaw, W. L. Payne and Bobby Castilaw.
Honorary pallbearers will be Morgan Thomas and Charles O'Neal.
