Mrs. Margaret Tam Dies At Age Of 84
Mother of M. M. Tam Of Warren Dies At Home Of Daughter At Huntington

Margaret Ann Tam, an octogenarian, a native of New York, and for many years living near Rock Creek Center, Huntington County, died at 12:40 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elsie Wygant, at Huntington. For four and a half years she had been an invalid, due to a fall that resulted in a fracture of the hip. Since August her condition had been serious.

Mrs. Tam was born at Memphis, N.Y., September 24, 1841, to Benaniel and Arvilla Hoag, and was married to Moses Tam. There were six children, four of whom and the husband, have died. Of the family there remain two children, a son, Marcus M. Tam, of Warren, and the daughter, Mrs. Wygant, at whose home she had lived.

Mrs. Tam was a member of the Central Christian church of Huntington, and the pastor of that organization, the Rev. W. H. McLain, will preach the funeral, which will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Wygant residence. Burial will be at Barnes Chapel.
