Eleanor Bays
ELNORA — Eleanor Isaac Bays, 89, died at 12:05 a.m. Saturday at Deaconess Hospital, Evansville. Born Nov. 4, 1920, in Hoopson, Ill., she was the daughter of Perry and Flossie (Alcorn) Isaac. She was a homemaker and attended Elnora United Methodist Church. She was a member of Ladies Aide in Raglesville and ran a rummage store for Elnora United Methodist Church. She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Perry Bays, John Bays, and Kenneth and Diana Bays, all of Elnora; daughters and sons-in-law, Lou Ellen and Ron Kibler of York, Pa., Carol Vertrees of Elnora, and Bonnie and Dave Wehmeier of Decker; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Vera Isaac of Plainville; sisters, Mae Plough of Hernando, Miss., Frances Owen and Marilyn Frazier, both of Elnora; grandchildren, Brian Speer, John Kibler, Robert Bays, Brenda Bays, Dwayne Bays, Gina Vertrees, Andrew Vertrees, Heather Mosbarger, Amanda Hurst, Wes Bays, Rachel Parsons, Kenneth Franklin Bays, Kenneth Raymond Bays Jr., Cory Bays and Ryan Wehmeier; two stepgrandchildren, Amanda Arnold and Ryan Winkel; 13 great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two children, Brenda and Nancy Bays; sisters, Pauline Easley, Bonnie Klutey and Maxine Duzan; half brother, Herschel Isaac; half sister, Hazel Isaac; and brother, Randall Isaac. Private family services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Poindexter-Hall and McClure Funeral Home, Washington Chapel, with Leonard Counsil officiating.
