A native of Beatrice, Neb., Mrs Harkins had been a resident of Victorville for nine years and of California for 43 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Victorville Senior Citizens Club.
Mrs. Harkins is survived by two daughters, Hazel M. Holmes of Newport Beach and Ruth E. Brown of Lytle Creek; a son, James M. Harkins of La Habra; a sister Emergene White of Philipsburg, Kan.; 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, from the dudley Mortuary Chapel in Victorville with Rev. David C. Ivins, pastor of the Calvary Bible Church in Lucerne Valley, officiating.
Interment will be in Lucerne Valley Memorial Park in Lucerne Valley with Dudley Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be held in the Dudley Mortuary Chapel in victorville on Sunday, Jan 27 from 12 noon to 5 p.m.
