CADDY Albert Henry 2nd Private 300429 Royal Air Force. In October reported as with the Oxford 7 Bucks Light Infantry at Salonika; At one time served in the East Yorkshire Regiment. Taken POW in 1918, suffered ill treatment and starvation he became very ill and retired from the Armed forces with a disability pension as a Army pentioner, but died of Pulmonary Tuberculosis and died 1st December 1920 aged 25 years his wife Elsie May Caddy, was present at the end Swabys passage Lairgate Beverely. Buried Queensgate Cemetery C. 60. 37. “God's will be done in affectionate remembrance from his sorrowing wife and son” Queensgate Beverley near Hull East Riding of Yorkshire Unitary Authority, East Riding of Yorkshire; Born Rugeley Staffordshire, 1895 Son of Aldred & Louisa Caddy of Stoke on Trent. Married September 1916 to Elsie May Caddy (Nee Jackson she never remarried and died 27/01/1969 buired Queensgate Cemetery) of 3, Hind’s Yard, Keldgate, Beverley.
