OBITUARY:

Mrs. Mary Brinegar Shuart died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank, B. Patton, 1617 6th Street, on Wednesday at 4 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from Elmwood Chapel with Day-Carter and Roach as Directors. The Rev. Edwin F. Shake will conduct the services and internment will take place in Green Hill Cemetery. The Remains will lie in State at the Funeral Home.

The deceased was born in this County on September 26, 1862 to William and Malinda (McCoy) Brinegar. She was married on February 14, 1883 to William A. Shuart who died September 29, 1934. Surviving relatives include daughter, Mrs. Patton; two sons, Charles of Texas and Arthur of Evansville; four grandchildren; one brother, Giles Brinegar of Thayer, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Susan Denny and Mrs. Myra Tipton of California. Mrs. Shuart was a member of the First Methodist Church in this City was highly esteemed.
