Mrs. Walter Breon Died Monday Night.
Mrs. G. Walter Breon died unexpectedly on Monday night, after a sickness of several years, and the news of her death was a great shock to her many friends. She was taken to the hospital Monday morning, and in the afternoon her condition was so much improved that her relatives and friends had strong hopes of her leaving for her home in a few days, but in the evening her condition became alarming and she was called to a long home at about 11 o'clock, shortly after her husband and daughter arrived at her bedside.
Funeral services were held by the Order of the Eastern Star at the hall on Wednesday afternoon amd a large number of the members were at the impressive services. The remains were interred in Highland cemetery.
Mrs. Breon was among Natrona county's earliest and most highly respected women. She came to Fort Fetterman in 1888 from Massachusetts, where she was united in marriage to Mr. Breon, and from Fetterman they came to their ranch on the Muddy where they made their home until about seven years ago when the family moved to Casper, and have since made this city their home.
She had been in poor health even before and since she moved here from the ranch.
Her maiden name was Mary Kernan, and she was born in South Bethlehem, Pa., July 11, 1856, being 57 years and 10 days of age at the time of her death.
She leaves to mourn her loss a husband and one daughter, Miss Lelia, of Casper, two half-brothers and one half-sister, who live in Joseph, Ore., besides a host of friends who were shocked and grieved at her sudden death, and whose sympathy is extended to the sorrowing family.
