Lillie Ellen Winters Adams/Cude/Edwards lived a long full life. She was the mother and step-mother of 27 children. After her husband Charles Edwards died Lillie Edwards lived on for another eleven or twelve years. She died on April 26, 1911 in Oakville, Live Oak Co at the age of 89 yrs. She and Charles are buried near each other in the Old Lebanon Cemetery, just east of Oakville, Live Oak Co. Tx. (This bio material is from the records of OK chief Franklin, a Winters' cousin. He says is so much better than I could.) Her headstone is on the back of her husband, Charles Edwards', headstone. Together in death as they were in life. Other sources tell us Lillian was born December 19,1819 and died April 26, 1901 as does her headstone. These dates would make her age 82 yrs.
