her lifetime was a ten day trip with her husband via train to California to visit relatives.
For many years Cecile and her husband operated a small appliance store in town. She will be remembered for her generosity and kindness to others. Her sense of humor was enjoyed by her many friends and family.
On June 24, 1929, in Brookville, she married David H. Hilliard who preceded her in death July 1, 1973. Her brother, Russell died when a teenager.
She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, one grandaughter, one grandson and two great grandsons. In Aug. 2013, a great great grandaughter was born. One son-in-law, William Putman, followed her in death May 2012. MJ
