ALSNAUER RAYMOND MUTH
Resident of Westerville Manor Care passed away peacefully on Apr. 17, 2010. Ray was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Edith Kiefer Alsnauer and his parents, Caroline and Charles Alsnauer. Ray was born Dec. 29, 1924 in Pittsburgh., Pa. He was a member of Zion Lutheran in Brentwood, Pa and most recently was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran in Columbus. Ray is survived by his children Martha Smith, Karl Alsnauer and William Alsnauer, their spouses Jim Smith, Cheryl Kalson and Karen Asmus-Alsnauer. Ray had eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and another on the way. He is also survived by his sisters, Norma Nedde & Pearl Creese. Ray served in the Army Air Corp, was a 32nd degree Mason of the Whitehall Lodge #684 F.&A.M. and an Agency Manager with State Farm Insurance. He loved to golf, read, woodwork and most importantly enjoyed seeing his family gathered together in love. His family will gather for visitation and service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens Chapel in Pgh., Pa Tuesday April 20 at 1:45PM, Pastor Karen Asmus-Alsnauer officiating. We encourage friends who can attend to join us. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make memorial contributions in Ray's memory may do so. Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 35 E.
