Oldest Daughter of John Augusta Bagwell and Amanda Rasco.
Her siblings are Roland Carl Bagwell and Minnie Mae Bagwell Morgan. She watched her Mother die in front of her. Lightning came out of the phone in 1910 and struck her mother's heart. Ruby was at home with her 3 year old sister and infant brother Roland. Her father John. remarried . He had three girls and one boy thru his second wife .

Mama raised 4 living children:"Buddy" Adams, Ruby Carlene Adams Snipes, Barney Pauline Adams Hines, and Leo "Bebo" Bishop Adams. And two infants which did not live. John H and Syble F. ..
Ruby loved the Lord. She taught us how to tithe to the Lord and how to share.
She loved to garden and can what she grew. She loved her family. Holidays were when we all got together and she would bake pies. She would take a mattress off her bed for all us kids to sleep on. She walked to town wearing straw hat. Her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Curtis and Tillie Freeman lived two streets over. She was a dedicated Baptist Church Nursery worker. She loved children.
