Stella W. Stark Dies In Hospital
"Following a brief illness, Mrs. Stella W. Stark, died at a local hospital Sunday.
Mrs. Stark was born in Virginia City Sept. 29, 1890 and had resided in this community for 44 years. She came to Reno from Virginia City to attend the university of Nevada in 1907. She also attended Healds Business College.
Mrs. Stark was the mother of Mrs. Helen S. Aldaz, La Rue Stark and Sam W. Stark of Reno; grandmother of Sharon Stark of Reno; sister of Mrs. Mary W. Francois of San Francisco and Mrs. Elizabeth Kessler of San Francisco; aunt of Mrs. George Hauser of Berkeley, Calif.
She was a member of Nevada Native Daughters, Singa Nu and Phi Beta Phi mothers club and the Catholic ladies society.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services at 9 a.m. in the home chapel of the Ross Burke co., thence to St Albert's Catholic Church where a requiem mass will be celebrated at 9:30.
Recitation of the rosary will be held at 7 p.m. in the Ross Burke Chapel.
Burial will be in the family plot at Mt. View Cemetery."
