Anna Timmons Adkins and Stanton Adkins had eleven children together, nine of which are accounted for below. Garrison, their second oldest son was born in 1822. To date, no one has been able to locate the Stanton Adkins family in the 1830 United States Census. Therefore, we do not know if Garrison was still alive in 1830. He is not included with the family in the 1840 census, however. We can surmise that he probably died sometime before 1840. There is an Adkins' headstone missing from the Greenland Cemetery near where Garrison's half-brother Cannon is buried. I believe this is where Garrison is buried.
Anna and Stanton's daughter Mary Ann was born 19 November 1828. She married Van Swearingen Creasap on 14 March 1850. She died 9 September 1887; Van died in 1894. I am unaware of their burial location at this time.
