MARSHA PEARSON GILBERT, 91, of Bradenton, Fla., died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, noon, at Bethesda North Hospital, Montgomery, Ohio. Born Jan. 5, 1919, in Parke County, Ind., she was the daughter of Parke W. and Marsha (Allee) Pearson. She married Arthur Raymond Gilbert on June 12, 1937, in Chester Township, Wabash County; he died on Aug. 25, 2000. She is survived by four children, David Grant Gilbert of Loveland, Ohio, Boyd H. (Sally) Gilbert of Valparaiso, Ind., Marsha Gaye Benson of Richmond, Calif. and Julia Ann (Jeff Davidson) Gilbert of Centreville, Va.; daughter-in-law, Leta Gilbert of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by son, Ray M. Gilbert, in 2008. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, at Liberty Mills Church of the Brethren, 71 N. 3rd St., Liberty Mills, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Kelly Beutler officiating. Friends may also call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at Grandstaff-Hentgen, Bender Chapel, 207 W. Main St., North Manchester. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Servia, Ind.
