Glenn Eldon Anderson was born in Lamoni, Iowa, Jan. 10, 1923, the son of Earl E. and Florence Elefson Anderson; he passed away on May 31, 1969, in the Evangelical hospital, Marshalltown, lowa, after a prolonged illness.

His early life was spent in Lamoni and he was graduated from the Lamoni High School in 1941. He was a member of the RLDS Church and was active in sports and musical groups in high school and at Graceland College which he attended while in the Naval Reserve and until his induction; he received a medical discharge from the service.

He was married in 1945 to Frances Stephens, now of Lakewood, Ohio. He was associated with the International Harvester Company in Dysart, Iowa, from 1945 to 1951; in 1951 he transferred to Marshalltown. Due to his health he retired in 1963 and in 1965 entered the Oakview Nursing Home in Conrad, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his mother and is survived by his father of Lamoni, and his sister Rae of Des Moines.

Services were conducted at the Pursel-Davis Funeral Home in Marshalltown by Elder F. L. Sawtelle on Tuesday, June 3, 1969, and at the Lamoni RLDS Church on June 4 by Elders Jerry Runkle and Robert Hynden. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Lamoni.
