Mr. Albert was a lifelong resident of St Joseph. He retired two years ago as a special delivery mail carrier following a 25-year association with the St Joseph post office. He was a member of the National Association for Civil Service Employees.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruth C. Albert; a son, George Edward Albert, Jr., of St Joseph; two daughters, Mrs. Tom Farmer of St Joseph and Mrs. Delouris Mathews of Raytown, Mo.; two half-sisters, Mrs. Edna Buthman of St Joseph and Mrs. Edith Carmichael of Omaha; two half-brothers, Julius Krull of St Joseph and Martin Krull of California; and one stepbrother, John Howlier of St Joseph."
