Mrs. Billingsley was born in Rockingham County to the late Frank and Mabel Carroll. She was a member of the Home Extension Club and a faithful member of Reidsville Alliance Church, member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class and served as hospitality chairman at the church for many years. She worked at Sears Mail Order from 1961- 1988 in various positions and enjoyed traveling with her sister-in-law, Mildred throughout the country. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dillard Billingsley; brother, J. Frank Carroll; brother-in-law, Charlie Billingsley and wife, Doris; nephew, Barry Billingsley.
