Obituary:
Jack Lee Clouse, 79, Granby, died at 12:01 am, Thursday, September 02, 2010, at his home. He was born April 9, 1931, in Neosho, MO, to Henry and Goldie (Carterman) Clouse. Mr. Clouse was a lifelong area resident and served in the U. S. Army, 1952 - 1954. He worked for Bone Dry Shoes for 19 years, and also for MFA Plant Food and Swift Construction. He was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church. Jack and Betty (Jeff) Clouse were married December 17, 1955; Betty survives.
Additional survivors include four children and their spouses, Barbara and John Edwards, Diamond, Doreen and Ted Poole, Granby, LeRoy and Robin Clouse, Elwood, Neb, and Charles Clouse, Granby; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Harold Clouse, Sonny Clouse and Danny Bush, all of Granby, and Cy Clouse, Diamond; and four sisters, Clarene Crittenden, Pryor, OK, Delores Eustler and Linda Friend, both of Granby, and Patty Reynolds, Joplin; and numerous nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Mike Lawson and wife, Christy, Joplin.
He was preceded in death by two children, Dixie Lewis and James Lee Clouse, and a great-granddaughter, Angel Marie Poole.
