He was born July 17, 1957, in Lubbock. He graduated from Monterey High School. He worked as an electrician for Duke's Electric. He was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church and a member of the Electricians Association.
Survivors include two sons, Jeremy Kirk and Gaylon Henry, both of Lubbock; a daughter, Jordan Henry of Lubbock; his mother, Mary Henry of Lubbock; two brothers, Robert Henry of Kyle and Robert Goodrich of Lubbock; and two sisters, Terrye Waller of Lubbock and Tamberly Davis of Brownfield.
