William was a farmer in Milton Township. His parents, Daniel and Margaret McCurdy Adams, were from Ireland and Pennsylvania. He married Eliza Greer in 1837 and his children were all born in Pennsylvania. In 1860, the family is in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. In 1870, they are in Milton Township, Wood County possibly moving after the War. William died from old age at the age of 86 years 1 month and 23 days.
