Elizabeth Deliah May, Ames was predeceased by her husband Wilber L. Ames in 1945, they had four children, Evelyn (Sam) Graham, Florence (Charlie) Moore, Irene (Harry) Hare, Ernest (Jan) Ames,.
Mr. & Mrs. Ames was married at Coquille Coos. Health Co. Oregon, on December 24, 1909 Move to Canada after her husband passed away to live with her daughter Florence and family,She became a candian citizen on Feb 8,1958. From the diary of Elizabeth Ames
Wilber and Elizabeth left Salmon Arm B.C. On Nov.10-1936,Arrived at Mission Nov 11 at 8:am ,Left at 11: am Arrived at Sumas at 1:pm stayed over night left on bus Nov.12 9:am.Went to Bellingham then went on to Seattle arrived at 10:45 left Seattle at 11:45 pm to Portland arrived at 6:30 am Nov.13 left Portland 8:15 am went to Eugene then went on to Marshfield arriving at 6:20 am. left by bus for Coquille arrived at 8:30 am Nov.14 1936 ,Wilber set up a filing shop Dec.4th 1936. We moved to Bullard Organ April 7th 1937 to work in saw mill, worked up till Jan 18/38
