Thomas Leroy Bailey, son of Sarah and William Bailey, was wounded at Cantigney, June 5th 1918 and died the next day, June 6th, from the effect of his wounds. He was a Private in Hdq. Co, 7th Field Artillery, and entered the service June 28th 1917, going to Jefferson Brks, Mo. From there he went to Camp Robinson and then to Camp Merritt. Burial at Erskine by American Legion Post which bears his name.
