LESLIE L. ASMUS , 87, of Bartlett, retired welder, fitter and mechanic for DuPont Co., died of respiratory failure Sunday at Senior Services Health Care Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Northridge/Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington with burial in Northridge/Woodhaven Cemetery there. He was a member of Living Word Lutheran Church. Mr. Asmus , the husband of Martha E. Asmus for 64 years, also leaves two sons, Robert L. Asmus of Bartlett and David L. Asmus of Norwalk, Conn.; a sister, Glenyce August of Minneapolis, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to Living Word Lutheran Church.
