Polly Ann Hampton Frakes, 80, Center Point, passed away at 9:20 a.m., Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, in Union Hospital.
She was born in Sullivan County, Sept. 20, 1929, to William H. Hampton and Ina Leach Hampton.

She is survived by three sons Larry Dean Frakes, Terry Lee Frakes and William Frakes (and wife Allison), and five daughters Sara Hendrickson (and husband Joe), Rita Thomas (and husband Jim), Linda Frakes, Vicki Frakes and Cathy Elkins. Also surviving are 42 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Frakes, Jr., a son James Lee Frakes, and a grandson Michael Copeland.

Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at 1 p.m., with Rev. Don Ransford and Rev. Dick Mcshanog officiating. Burial will be in Farmersburg Westlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, from 4-8 p.m., in the funeral home.
