LADY LAKE, FL — Ernest A. Flaherty, 95, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010.
Mr. Flaherty was born in Trenton, NJ, and moved to Lady Lake in 2010. He was a retired warehousing and storage manager for the federal government; a musician with big bands during the '40s and '50s; a Presbyterian by faith; enjoyed photography and listening to his music.
Survivors include his wife, Anna; stepson, William P. Booz, The Villages; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Lady Lake, with visitation prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m., with the Rev. Bill Lee officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton Township, N.J.
Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory, Lady Lake, is in charge of arrangements.
