Mrs. Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Adams was born on July 14, 1889, in Arkansas, and died Jan 8, 1916, in Arkansas, from the influenza. She left a 4 months old son.

Elizabeth (Lizzie) Cole married Luther Adams on Feb. 2, 1908, and she died in 1916.

Their childeren were:

May Adams born on November 21, 1909 in Arkansas and died in 1968. May married Charlie Blake in 1926, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. I think May is buried in Missouri. She had around 9 children who are all deceased.

Howard Lile Adams who was born September 3, 1915 in Jonesboro, Ark, and died February 6, 1997, in Michigan City, Indiana. He married Rena Luerene Cox on April 28, 1936, in Cardwell, Missouri, and she is still living at this writing. They had 8 children. He is buried in Three Oaks, Michigan.

Jesse's daughter was called Vinie Adams. Possibly her name was Alvina, but not for sure. She was born in 1886 and she married Wilber Wolfe on May 23, 1904, in Vermillion County, Ill., and they had one daughter named Ruvilla (Bill) Wolfe who was born February 1, 1906, in Ill. They later lived in Gary Indiana. She may have died in 1947 and he in 1951.

Lizzie was buried in Bishop Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Minnie Minerva Cheshier b. 15 Aug 1871 McNairy, Tenn. and d. 10 Jan 1957 St Louis, Crawford, Missouri. She is buried in Bishop Cemetery in an unmarked grave.

They had 5 children.

2) Betty Cold b. 23 April 1891 Ark and D. 25 June 1943 Ark and married Doss Lashley 1919. She is buried in Bishop Cemetery
(3) William P Cole b 10 April 1893 d. 12 May 1952 m. Zula Goodwin 1916. (
4) Young Cole b. 5 Mar 1894 Ark and d 5 Jan 1916 (influenza)
(5) Bertha Cole b. 4 Oct 1905 Ark d. Aug 1973 Missouri. She married three time Raymond Mayfied 1925, Melvin Simes in 1928 and Harold Tussing (I don't know when)
All of these people are buried in Bishop Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. except I'm not for sure about William.

Lizzie's dad and little brother was real sick and she wanted to see them so bad. She went to see them and came home with the influenza from them. They all died within 4 days of each other.

Grandfather: Easter Woodburn born June 28, 1840 Tenn and died December 2, 1903 and is buried in Bishop Cemetery. They had around 7 children.

Her mother Minnie remarried two more times. She married Jesse Adams on 22 Nov 1916 and he died two months later from pneumonia on 8 Jan 1917. Then she married John Luff.
