Margaret was the daughter of George and Barbary Niece, both of whom were born in Alsace, France and immigrated to the United States, settling in Liberty Township of Adair County, Missouri.
Maggie had siblings William, Daniel, Caroline, Mary, and James F. Niece.

Mrs. Maggie Daniels, wife of Elijah Daniels, of near Pure Air, died Friday night in this cityu following a brief illness. She was 43 years of age and a native of Adair county. Besides her husband she is survived by the following relatives: two daughters, Mrs. Sidney Osborne and Mrs. Arni Nelso of near Yarrow, three sons, Glen Daniels, of Novinger, Geo. Daniels of Stahl and Merl Daniels who lives at home, two sisters, Mrs. Wallace and Mrs. Mary Arthur, of Greencastle and Daniel Niece, of Novinger. The body was taken to her home Saturday morning and burial took place in Pratt cemetery.
