Mrs. Etta Knotts, 47, wife of Thomas Knotts, 233 West Ward Street died at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Champaign County Hospital following an illness of two weeks. She was a member of the Church of Nazarene, Urbana. Surviving with the husband are three daughters, Mrs. Thomas Wolfe of Los Angeles, Calif.;Mrs. Webber Richardson of Sand Gap, Ky.,and Miss Lilly Knotts at home; her father, Ross Reed of Marysville and three brothers, Paul Reed of Marysville; Lester Reed of Dayton and Clarence Reed of Urbana, Route 2. The body was removed to Frank Funeral Home in St. Paris and will be brought to the home of a brother-in-law, Tennie Knotts, 316 Sara Street, Thursday morning. Funeral Services are to be held at 2:30 p.m. EWT Friday in the Urbana Baptist Church in charge of Rev. Samuel Furrow,. Burial is to be in Nettle Creek Cemetery, South of Westville.
Bearers: James Knotts, Benton Knotts, Carl Knotts, Raymond Knotts, J.H. Higgs, Donald Pence.
