Funeral Rites to Be Monday Morning at 9

Mrs. L. J. Ginthner, 53, died at a local hosital at 8:30 a.m. Friday, following a lingering illness. She had been a resident of Mason City for the past 36 years making her home at 211 S. Taylor avenue.

Mrs. Githner was born Agnes McGreevy, december 31, 1891, at Clarinda, Iowa. She was married to Larry J. Ginthner, September 14, 1921, at St. Josephs Catholic church. For a number of years she was employed at the Northwest Savings and the United Home banks. She was a member of the Joyce-Killmer Club.

Surviving are her husband and one son, Gerald, 17 at home, and 6 sisters, Sister Mary Davids, Minneapolis; Sister Marie Therese, Sinisanawa, Wis.; Mrs. Edward O'Connor, St. Cloud, Minn.; Mrs. Nellie Maricle, Omaha, Nebr.; Mrs. Garth Klinkscales, Booneville, Mo.; and Mrs. Margaret Isaacson, Mason City, and one brother, David W. McGreevy, Mankato, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at St. Josephs Catholic church Monday morning at 9 o'clock, with Father, P. J. Beharr officiating. Burial will be at St. Elmwood Cemetery. Until the time of the service the body will lie in state at the Meyer Funeral Home, whre the rosary will be said Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening at 8 o'clock.
