Sergeant United States Army. Served in World War 2, 314th Infantry Regiment, 79 Infantry Division. Entered the service from Pennsylvania. Service # 33345470. Killed in action July 4, 1944 during the early days of the Normandy invasion. Awarded the Purple Heart posthumously after his death.
