Born 03 Sep 1918 in Dover, Stewart, Co., TN, PFC Bryant was Killed in Action near Monghidoro, Italy.
He had attended school in Belleville, IL and had been employed by Koppers Blast Furnace in Granite City, IL prior to his induction into the service in August of 1943.
Awarded the Infantry Combat Badge, Pfc. Leon Bryant left behind his wife Alda, father William Bryant, and mother Mrs. Lulu Ralls.
