Jacob was s/o Frank (b. 1843) and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Zemare (1855-1912) Snorek, from Bohemia, and lived in Chicago. In 1917, Jacob was a paint mixer for Bradley & Vrooman Co. in Chicago. He died in 1918 in France during the Great War. His wife Marga was left behind when he went to war.
