RALPH EDMUND ELTZROTH, 23, a first lieutenant in the Army Air Corps, died in England on Jan. 21, 1944. He was a bombardier and navigator and had completed thirty-two bombing missions for which he had received th Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with six oak leaf clusters.

Born in Wabash County on Feb. 14, 1920, he had later moved to Huntington. The widow, Mrs. Bonnie Eltzroth, Huntington, survives.
