William James Dooley, who was serving as a first lieutenant in the air sea rescue school in England, was killed in an airplane crash in the North Sea in November, 1944. He went into the service in January, 1942. Mrs. Hazel Dooley, his wife and several children survive him. His parents, James Ray and Martha Rebecca "Minnie" (Rahe) Dooley, also survive him.
