Lloyd (Al) I. Albertie, 69, of E1927 King Road, town of Farmington, Waupaca, died on Tuesday, October 17, 1989, at 1:54 p.m. at the Harford Hospital, Harford, Wisconsin. He was born on March 11, 1920 in the town of Buena Vista, Portage County, a son of the late Irvin and Bessie Albertie. He was married on December 4, 1971 in Beloit to Dorothea (Dora) Loomis who survives. He was a retired supervisor for Motor Transport Inc. and Fourway Express. He was a driver and delivered cars for Neuville Motors, Waupaca. He was an alumnus of the Civil Service Corp, and a World War II veteran. Other survivors include one son Fred (Phyllis) Albertie, Beloit; two daughters, Mrs. Judy (Chet) Miller, Alton, Illinois and Mrs. Sandi (Frank) Cline, Eddyville, KY; two sisters Mrs. Jean (Howard) Smith, Waupaca and Mrs. Charlotte (Marvin) Lauven, Hurrican, WV; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 19 at 8 p.m. at the Holly Funeral Home, Waupaca, with Rev. James R. Teasdale, Calvary Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial was in the Floral Lawns Cemetery, South Beloit, Wisconsin. Honorary pallbearers were Frank Long, Mark Albertie, Matt Albertie, Randy Albertie, Marvin Albertie and Mitchell Albertie. Holly Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
