On 21 MAY 2021, Backroad traveler (Contributor #49801402) kindly submitted links to the memorials for her parents, Dr. Charles H. & Sarah Aurelia (KENAN) HALL, as identified on her state death certificate; also, a birth place of Milledgeville, GA (need source - death certirficate shows GA) and death place Macon, GA (from death certificate).

On the 1860 federal census, the family were residing in Milledgeville District (served by the Milledgeville Postoffice), with son Kenan (aged 1) and daughter Elinor H. (aged 6 months), both born in Georgia. Since the parents married at Milledgeville on 09 DEC 1856, I'm going to accept that their daughter Eleanor was born there.

Regarding the respective birth dates of Eleanor H. (HALL) JAQUES and her brother, Dr. Kenan HALL: in the 1860 census household of Charles H. & Sarah A. HALL in Milledgeville, GA, Kenan HALL is aged 1 year and Elinor H. HALL is aged 6 months. Census Day was 01 JUN 1860, and Enumeration Day for this household was 02 JUN 1860. In separate households on the 1900 census of Macon, GA, Dr. Kenan HALL is shown to have been born in Aug. 1858 and Eleanor H. JAUQES in Dec. 1859. Dr. HALL's newspaper obituary doesn't mention a specific birth date but reports his age to be 45 years (not 44, as it would be had he been born in 1859). Looking very closely at the image of the grave marker inscription for Kenan HALL, while the mottling makes the last digit of the death year appear to be a "9," it is in fact an "8." So he was born 27 AUG 1858, and she on 04 DEC 1859. While Eleanor's death certificate is in error as to her birth year, her headstone inscription correct.
