Ms. Janice Chambers Gray of 909 Farr Road, #17, Columbus passed Friday at her home. She was 52 years old. A daughter of the late Jimmie L. and Florence Chamber, Janice was born in Fort Benning, GA on August 22, 1957. She was a 1975 graduate of Baker High School and attended Columbus State University. She was a private-duty home health caregiver and was a member of Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church where she served with the PICCM and the Recovering Through Christ Ministry. Survivors include her daughter, LaQuette F. Gray; two sons, Anthony Gray, Jr. (Octavia) and Adrin Gray; three grandchildren, Xavier, Tyanna and Tavon; three sisters, LaVerne Robinson (Danny), Annette Mays (John) and Constance Pollard (Herman); two aunts, Louise Thompson (Curtis) and Mildred Chambers; a god sent angel, Kayla "Fe Fe"; loving nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Homegoing Services for Ms. Gray will be Saturday, 12 Noon at Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. J. H. Flakes, III will officiate. The interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
