Donald V. Bumbalough, 76, oif Sparta, passed away Aug. 1, 2010, in Nashville.
Mr. Bumbalough was born June 25, 1934, in White County, to Everett and Callie Mackie Bumbalough.
He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Sullivan Bumbalough, of Sparta; daughter, Diane Ferrell and husband Billy, of Rock Island; grandchildren, Tiffany Hutton, Travis Haston; great-grandchildren, Devin Haston, Hailey Hutton, Bri Hutton, Brayton Haston; two sisters, Verla Broyles, of Livingston, Sylvia Bradley, of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Aug. 5, 2010, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 5 p.m., Aug. 4, at the funeral home.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
