Mrs. H. May Yeager, 73, of 2207 8th Ave. died at 5:40 a.m. today. Jan. 16, 1985, in Mercy Hospital, after a brief illness.

Mrs. Yeager had been an inspector for Puritan Knitting Mills.

She was born Aug. 23. 1911, in Hollidaysburg. the daughter of Herman and Lillie (Ingram) Karle. and, in Cumberland, Md., married Claude D. Yeager, who died April 9, 1965.

Surviving are two stepchildren. Joann R. Brown and Daniel J. Yeager of Alloona; a niece, Eva M. Walter, with whom she resided; three step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

Also surviving is a brother, John H. of Altoona.

Mrs. Yeager was a member of the Simpson-Temple Yoked Parish.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the William G. Bigelow. Funeral Home.

YEAGER - Services for H. May Yeager of 2207 8th Ave. will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the William G. Bigelow Funeral Home, by the Rev. Gerald G. Heilman. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the William G. Bigelow Funeral Home.
