STONEWALL, LA - Graveside services for William T. Baker will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Keithville, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Randy Lee of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Jonesboro, LA.
William passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He proudly served in the Navy during WWII and remained proud of his country till he passed. He was a simple man that loved his family, and meeting people.
He is survived by six children, Kathleen, Jeanne, Barbara, Steven, Tina and Karla; 17 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
MoMM3 - Motor Machinist's Mate Third Class Petty Officer (E-4), is the fourth highest enlisted noncommissoned officer rank in the U.S. Navy.
