Very little information exists on James Jack. He was listed as a "single man" on the 1783 tax list for So. Susquehannah Hundred, Cecil Co., Maryland. He sold his inherited property in 1796.

James married Mary __________, ca 1793. They produced six children:

1) Daughter, ca 1794
2) John M. Jack, ca 1795
3) William Jack, 13 Dec. 1796
4) Margaret Jack, July 1801
5) James Jack, 25 Feb. 1803
6) Nancy Jack, 25 Oct. 1806

I presume he is also buried at Hopewell Methodist Church Cemetery.
