Claudis "Claude" Botkin, 47, of 51 Arlington, died at 12;30PM Friday (Jan 26, 1973) at the Danville Veterans Administration Hospital.

He was born Mar 8, 1925, in Danville, the son of Ora and Dora Davis Botkin. He married Catherine Collins June 30, 1958, in Champaign, and she survives.

Also surviving are 4 daughters, Tammy & Joni at home, Mrs. Drew Jarvis and Mrs Jan Burnett, both of Danville; a brother, James and a sister, Mrs. Edith McLaren, both of California; a half-brother, Arnold Payne of Kentucky and a half-sister, Mrs. Wanita Radloff of Danville; and three grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He had last worked at the Danville VA Hospital. He served in the Army during WWII.

Services will be at 1pm Monday at Barrick & Son Funeral Home. Elder Irwin Maymon will officiate and burial will be in **Spring Hill Cemetery.** Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 Sunday at the funeral home.
