"If christian piety and conjugal affection could have averted thy stroke of death! She would have still lived on Earth, But Alas! No warning given! Unceremonious Fate! A sudden Rush from life's meridian joys! Unveil thy bosom, faithful tomb. Take this new treasure to thy trust. And give these sacred relicks room to Slumber in the silent dust. In thy fair Book of life divine, My God! inscribe her name. There let it fill some humble place beneath the slaughtered lamb."
