Glenn Brandenburg, 63, of Mountainburg died Tuesday, July 27, 2010, in Van Buren. He was born Aug. 19, 1946, in Oklahoma City. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a retired maintenance dispatcher for Whirlpool Corp. He was a member of Mountainburg First Baptist Church and the Pope Cemetery Board. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Brandenburg, and a daughter, Roxanne Brandenburg.
He is survived by two sisters, Merlene Blagg of Slidell, Texas, and Nancy Coulson of Ada, Okla.; two brothers, Raymond Brandenburg of Van Buren and Steve Brandenburg of Van Buren; and a number of nieces and newphews.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. today at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Pope Cemetery in Graphic Community under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
