Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, December 27th, Santaquin, Utah Funeral Home, for Mrs. Emily Thomas Andrew, age 75, who died December 23rd of an apparent heart attack.

Burial was in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.

Mrs. Thomas was born Jan. 4, 1897, at Malad, a daughter of Joseph Hyrum and Emily Mari Rees Thomas. She was married to John Henry Andrew, July 5, 191... at Redwood City, California, and the marriage was solemnize March 4, 1964, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She attended the State Normal School at Albio... She was a former school teacher county chairman of the Amercan Cancer Society and a member of Entre Nous Literary Club, she also wrote a column for the Salt Lake Tribune newspaper.

Mr. Andrew worked as a druggist in Malad,ID, Provo, Ut, Price, UT and Orem, UT.

Surviving are her husband, two daughters; 12 grandchildren seven great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, William; Malad; Mrs. Merle (Ethel) Linitz, Bremerton, Wash.; Mrs Leone Brown, Mrs, Walter (Margaret) Allgler, Leo, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Leland (Ruth) Curtis, Ogden; Mrs. Edna ,Crui... Lava Hot Spings.
